The steeple and bell tower of the huge 16th century Notre Dame church is about 175 feet high, the highest in the department

The vessel of the church is also huge, if somewhat plain

Looking towards the high altar, the interior bears out the impression of size

Looking back from the apse, the organ installation can be seen above the main entry doors

A classy rose window brightens up the organ pit

Back outside this statue stands in an alcove between two stone piers and seems to demonstrate a happy lack of vandalism

The Tour d'Arlet stands opposite the church. This 13th century, three storey home of a rich noble family, actually has a double sloped roof concealed by the walls. Fireplaces, cupboards and lamp niches indicate a high level of comfort for the period

In the main intersection at the center of town is the Hotel de Ville, the only other building of note that we saw. Lunch however, was great!
