St. Gabriel's Church, one of the few features offered in Titusville. There are a number of stained glass windows in the building but it is difficult to get inside to enjoy them

The County Courthouse, built in 1912 for a little over $30,000. How we have progressed. Other advertized Historic Sites are limited to elderly houses which are mainly unkempt and in poor repair, looking more like student dorms, drug houses or worse

Across from the courthouse is a local attorney office offering help with everything from wills to sex offences. Not sure who would want help with their sex offences but then, this is Florida

The Black Tulip Restaurant in Cocoa has been in business since 1989! Wow.

Local government investment has manifested itself in cute little plazas sporting popcorn boutiques, doggie bakery treats and similar dynamic enterprises

General view of the south end of the improved section of Brevard Avenue

Signs of success? One wonders how many SBA loans are draining away in this section of the street

Part of the renovation and build out includes this pedestrian square

Mural on the jewelry store wall accented by the most enduring features of the street - the trees

Close by is the Indian River and the small Cocoa harbor

Our "vantage" point, on the TGO golf course, was about 15 miles from the launch pad. The closest Joe Public can get nowadays is nine miles and that costs $51.00 per person whether or not the shot actually goes

Five minutes after the launch, this is all that could be seen for our precious tax dollars
